To obtain pregnancy the normal way or by insemination, at least one of your tubes need to have passage. Earlier infection can be the cause of the tubes blocking due to adhesions. In suspicion of fibroma, polyps, or adhesions in the uterine cavity, a hysteroscopy should be done.
HSU-examination is usually done on day 5-11 of your cycle. Before the HSU-examination, you must have a negative chlamydia (cervix swab), no more than 6 month ago. The cervix swab can be done at your GP.
